The Hermosa Pier is arguably the best place in the world to play beach volleyball. Hermosa's beautiful beach and deep, soft sand are ideal for the game. The tournament site is bordered by restaurants, bars, shops and hotels. These factors always ensure the strongest, deepest competition on the court and a festive, party-like atmosphere on the sidelines. Courts are on the North side, and Parking(which is free) is available a few blocks East on Valley Drive 5 Blocks East of the Pier or 1 block West of PCH on Valley just South of Pier Ave.
Check-in: 8 - 8:40 a.m. Pool Play starts promptly at 9 a.m. Parking: $15/day on the weekends in the nearby lots or can park for FREE in the adjacent neighborhood if you arrive early enough. Lots of nearby restaurants and shops; Surf City Days events going on throughout the beach area and Main St.

We're 2 miles south of the Huntington Beach Pier, in front of the SMOKE STACKS at Newland Street in the State Park. Cars are advised to enter the park on Pacific Coast Highway at the Beach Blvd. or Magnolia entrances. The parking fee is $15-$20/day but you can leave and re-enter, which is great for food-runs. You can also buy the $195 annual pass which works at all the state beaches and parks. Parking is near the courts; restrooms are close by too, and sometimes there is a food truck. SPEED LIMIT IN THE PARK: 15MPH. DON'T SPEED IN THE PARK. KIDS ARE EVERYWHERE, AND SO ARE RANGERS WHO HAVE THE POWER TO CANCEL OUR TOURNAMENTS.
Tradition runs deep in Laguna Beach as we celebrate the 67th Annual Men's Laguna Open and the 46th Annual Women's Laguna Open at Main Beach. All the great players have played here in Laguna over the years and we look forward to continuing to have world-class competition in the world's oldest continuously run Open tournament. FROM NORTH: Take the 405 or 5 to the 133 Freeway towards Laguna Beach; Go 9 miles to the water and you dead-end into Main Beach; Tournament check in is at the south end of Main Beach; Parking is meters or lots (usually $10 all day) and you can park in the neighborhoods above Cliff Drive or off Park Avenue for free and walk to the site. FROM THE SOUTH: If you're coming from San Diego up through San Clemente, exit at Beach Cities Exit (just north of San Clemente) and go north on Coast Highway through Dana Point and into Laguna; Travel 11 miles into downtown Laguna and park as noted above; If you're coming coming North from San Juan Capistrano or Mission Viejo, you can also take the 405 to the 133 and go West 9 miles to the water.

CBVA Marine Tournaments are at Marine in Manhattan Beach. Marine and specifically Orange Court, is a legendary location for beach volleyball with a long proud history. All of these tournaments have a check in by 8:30 and start at 9am. Monterey Bay Waterfront Park runs alongside Monterey State Beach, just east of Wharf #2, and holds a number of recreational opportunities, including sand volleyball courts. At 9:00 we will review tournament format and rules, and demonstrate some of the basic beach volleyball skills. At 9:15 teams will be assigned pools and courts. Competition begins at 9:30. We will have pool play and then single elimination playoffs. Playoffs normally start at 1:00 and the tournament will end around 4:30.

From the 101 Fwy heading North of the 405 or South from Ventura, exit at Kanan Dume and head west towards the ocean; Turn right at Pacific Coast Hwy and head north to the Zuma Beach access road to enter the parking lot. Note: There is free street parking on the southbound traffic side of PCH.
